| Located
in 200 acres of stunning Welsh countryside,
overlooked by Chirk Castle and the Welsh Borders
above, Chirk Golf Course makes the most appealing
society venue. The Par 72 Championship course
has won acclaim for fairness and flexibility
which can play as short as 5757 yards or,
for the really ambitious 7281 yards. Let us
know where you want the tees for your day.
The Par 5 9th hole measures some 664 yards
from the white tees and is one of the longest
in Europe. If you get on in 2 you are guaranteed
a free drink in the bar afterwards. Previously
forming part of the castle grounds the 18
hole course is also bounded by the Llangollen
Canal. With mature Parkland, numerous water
features and undulating greens you are sure
to have a very pleasant and eventful round.

Par 3 Course has a 'Gleneagles feel' designed
through stands of scots pine. It's possibly
one of the finest Par 3 courses around and
a welcome addition to any Society golf day
- if you can't manage 36 holes on the main
course! |

| The
Bar and Carvery provides a friendly, informal
retreat after the round or a great venue for
just a social visit. |
|
| Beginners
are well catered for with a Floodlit
Driving Range,
the 9 Hole Par 3 Course and lessons are available
to all standards. |
